Dr. Roseline Nyongarwizi Akol

Dr. Akol obtained a Bachelor Science in Engineering (Electrical) from Makerere University 1997, Masters of Science and Doctor of Philosophy in Electronic Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa in 2002 and 2008 respectively.

Dr. Akol has been teaching in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the College of Engineering, Design, Art and Technology (CEDAT) of Makerere University since September 2010. Since joining the Department, she has been teaching course in the Telecommunication such as Communication Engineering and Propagation to undergraduate, Signals and Systems to postgraduate students. She is the current head of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Dr. Akol research interests include Coding and information theory, digital signal processing, mobile communication systems and technologies.
